I have been a patient of this group since transferring from Novant. I love my primary care doctor and there was no question to follow her. My husband became sick with a severe infection and we were in the office 4 times in the past 2 weeks. She gave instructions on what to do if things got worse. Then we had to take him to the ER because of his blood pressure dropping and he was light headed etc. We were told to call our doctor and recheck blood work because of low RBC and other labs. I called and explained and was told our doctor was out but a new doctor Cody Homstike DO could see him and recheck labs. We go, she comes in, she was nice and we explained what was going on. She said she had gone over the ER report and then says everything is good, although I gave a copy of labs with over 8 or more labs that were too high or too low. I explained it had been 2 weeks and that I felt they should have hospitalized him and we would now be past this, but the ER doctor said he had kidney damage and I wanted test to see what was wrong. She looked at me and said what test do you want us to do. I said a CT scan, more blood work refer him to a specialist etc, and she said "I am a DO which believes in holistic treatment and your body will heal itself. No test or rechecks were ordered, no referral and were told to call our doctor when she returned.

Dr. Homistek is one of the most frustrating people I've ever dealt with. She is an expert and faking sympathy, lets you talk and talk, then it's like she did't hear a word you said and proceeds to give you unhelpful advice. Find a new doctor, you've been warned.
