Provided by YP.comwe stayed at the lodge saturday july 26,2008. the general manager finally checked us in at 3:00. when we got up to our rooms [adjoining handicap and regular] we found there was NO water.
when i went to the front desk, i was told there was a leak on the 3ed floor and the whole hotel water supply was shut down. when i asked why we were NOT told of this at check in, lori dowd the gen. mgr. who checked us in, had nothing to say. the water was off until 11 that night. no shower, sink or toilet facilities were available to us during that time. lisa told me their maitenance man could not fix the problem and another plumber could not be there till 9 pm. another guest told me that he called several plumbers from the hotel phonebook and could have had someone there within 30 minutes.
upon checkout the next day, we were offered a 20% discount for our inconvience. i disputed the entire bill after such a lame gesture.
other than the water, the hotel and adjoining casino were ok, nothing special. but the management [lisa] is not experienced enough to have the position she holds.
