Called directly to make reservation - was not advised that the hotel was undergoing renovation and looked like a war zone. And we were charged over $ 200.00 a night! We had no choice but to stay because of all the hotels in the area being sold out. (Nascar?) No elevator - only two floors - the halls and stairwells were trashed and hot - no a/c. The soda and ice machines were not functioning on the second floor. Our room had been recently renovated - but the bed had no bed skirt - no mirror above desk, and furniture was obviously missing. Plus the smell of wallpaper paste and paint was still present. Once the renovations are complete, this will probably be a lovely hotel. But - to charge full rates and take advantage of the lack of rooms in the area is reprehensible.
