Provided by YP.comSome of the most shockingly bad customer service I have had in a long time. I talked to a customer service rep on the phone when buying a nice hockey stick and they told me I needed to buy a "left" blade even though I am right handed and shoot right handed. The woman's reasoning was that "left" means that the stick curves to the left when looking at it while holding it. I knew this sounded odd, but I figured the customer service rep of a place that sells hockey equipment would know better than I.
WOW was I wrong. Not only did they send me a stick meant for a left handed player, they want me to pay $5 PLUS $18 to ship it back and then another $16 for them to ship me one. THAT IS MORE THAN THE STICK COSTS. I called and talked to several customer service reps and after presenting my case, the manager offered to give me a measly 10% discount if I wanted to buy another stick from them. The nerve on these people! They obviously have no idea what it means to treat their customers with respect
This is by far the worst customer service of any retailer I have ever used. Be careful before buying anything from them!!

Provided by YP.comHad some questions about a pro stock stick, and the representative sent me right to the warehouse manager, who was able to take pictures of their stock and send them to me via email, and answered every question I had. He did not seem the most knowledgeable about hockey gear, but that was alright as I was able to get the answers I needed. Ordered my stick and am very happy with the purchase!

Provided by YP.comActually, I wouldn't even give this parent company of HOMERUNMONKEY.com a 1 star rating but I can't post my comment without some type of rating. I ordered gear ($257.95 worth) for my son who made the High School baseball team. UPS claims to have "left at front door" but to date we have not received this merchandise. Monkey Sports or whoever they are don't seem to care. I have been through three representatives at *Monkey and two representatives at UPS and still don't have my credit or merchandise. I have been trying to work with the Coaches at our school for some 'team sales' issues to purchase uniforms, cleats, helmets, etc. for all 69 players and there is NO WAY I WILL USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY FUTURE PURCHASES and would encourage you the reader to find a more reliable company for your purchases. In fact, barcelonasports.com has been wonderful in working with us on discounts, priority shipping (to the school), etc.

Provided by YP.comHockey Monkey has progressively gotten worse. The service is ridiculously bad! I called in with a simple question asking about a replacement blade, I'm not even sure the guy who answered the phone knew what hockey was. After I ordered I receive a conformation email with no tracking order number and a link that reads "order status" which has no purpose... I live 5 hours away from the damn place and I paid the standard shipping fee BUT they charged me a $7 handling fee? For a $19 blade i ended up paying $33 (a little disappointing.) AND it took over a week to get to me. Icewarehouse.com and/or Inlinewarehouse.com has amazing service, fast shipping, great prices, and phenomenal customer service... You won't be on hold for more then a min and they are experienced and intelligent when it comes to their hockey equipment. I'm also a fan of hockeygiant.com

Provided by YP.comThis is a warehouse packed with assortment of Hockey, Field, Baseball, LaCrosse equipment, clothing etc. I have called many times and the customer service is "Top Notch". This warehouse has just about everything you need for yourself, women or men, all teams equipment etc. Its everything you need and want in one place.
The customer Service employees seem to have all of that knowledge and all the prices down to the letter.
If something is on sale, or they know I'm buying 2 different hockey sticks they will make suggestions on what quality I should get and maybe a lesser price.
This is a friendly based company which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to shop and get Quality goods, excellent customer service and efficient service where my goods are shipped in a timely manner.
If you call back and a mistake has been made by either myself or the Customer Service Rep. they make amends and give you satisfaction guaranteed. In this age of high end IPODS, phones, and computers, its nice to call a HockeyMonkey and actually talk to a friendly person. A one-on-one conversation with a real live person. It is refreshing and so I recommend anyone who is considering to buy one item, or many items, or wants to dress its team in all the same jerseys this is the place.
I have nothing but good comments for this company and I think how it treats its customers is the main reason I go back to HockeyMonkey. I have recommended this place for others and have received the same type of great comments.
Keep up the great customer service and continue and I know you will be very successful.
