Ponino’s Story In the early 1950’s, Little Liborio was born in a small Sicilian town in Italy. There, his friends frequently called him by his nickname, Ponino or “Nino”. When he was ten, his family moved to New York and Ponino began his life in pizza. In the mid 1960’s he moved out to California and continued his quest for making the perfect pizza. Since then he has used those finely honed pizza-making skills along with nothing but the best, highest quality ingredients to produce delicious pizza for you to enjoy. Ponino’s offers a full range of all of your favorite Italian foods, freshly prepared to your order. We have Appetizers, Pizza, Pastas, Rotisserie Chicken, Broasted Chicken, Desserts, and much more, featuring our Salad Bar. For those of you with limited time for lunch, we offer our Endless, Weekday Lunch Buffet; all your Ponino’s favorites, ready for you to enjoy. Since beginning in the pizza business in the 60’s, he has donated over 48,000 free parties to local youth sports teams and plans to continue this tradition at Ponino’s.
