This place is amazing!!!!



A couple months ago, my cat knocked my laptop off the coffee table, breaking the charging port. Since it's still under warranty, Sony told me to take it to Geek Squad since they handle all of their warranty work. A week after sending it out, I got my quote for repair. Since the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, they were going to charge me full price: ****$600!!!!**** Plus tax!



I said absolutely not, send it back!!!! (which took another week+) After a few more weeks of trying to get a reasonably priced repair from Sony, I looked for other options. By this point, I had been without my laptop for almost 2 months (horrors!).



I found these guys on yelp and decided to check them out. I dropped my laptop off on a Thursday, they ordered the part, and I thought, finally, in a week or 2 I'll be back in business! Nope, not a week or 2 - that Saturday they called to say it was ready! It took longer for me to have the time to go back and pick it up than it did for them to repair it.



So in less time than it took for it to get to Geek Squad so they could diagnose my computer with a problem I told them it had (and they drained the last of my battery and sent it back dirty), Short CirQit had my computer repaired, cleaned up, and ready and waiting for me. All for a little less than a quarter of what Geek Squad was going to charge me. Forget the extended warranty or damage protection - just go to these guys!
