With the $24,000.00 credit from my home builder, I purchaced my tile and hardwood floors from Vintage. The floors were actually a little over 28,000.00 witch is really expensive for a 2,000sq home. Recently, my hardwood floors have become warped and rippled at the edges. I was so distraught, how in the world could this have happened. I called a flooring company to see what could be done to correct the problem. To my amazement, they told me the floors were veneer floors, not just veneer, but cheap veneer at that. I was told by Vintage they were hardwood floors, and the care I gave them was for hardwood floors. Because the care is different for veneers, I mean cheap veneers, they are saying its my fault. My Designer, myself, as well as my sales rep from the home builder were all told the floors were hardwood. I was duked! The Price I was charged was $9.00sq and you can find it at Home Depot or Lowe's from 99cent a sq ft to $2.49sq ft.Please be careful if you shop here, don't let this happen to you
