WebsiteFounded in 1922, the Balboa Yacht Club is one of the oldest yacht clubs on the Pacific Coast. It operates a year-round facility including a full-service restaurant and bar, marina and a Catalina Island facility. The club has an active junior sailing program, cruisers, sailing races and an anglers club. Facilities available include a clubhouse containing two decks of meeting rooms that include areas for the governing board, various committees, social and yachting events and junior member activities. Also provided are a main dining room, a snack bar and a bar. BYC also has a mooring area. Adjacent to the club on the north is the Balboa Yacht Club Marina that provides fully equipped slips for boats 80-feet in length with full docking privileges. The club is in Corona Del Mar, Calif.

Provided by SuperpagesGreat place with very nice members and facilities. Good with charity events and camaraderie. Really like their support of their kids with the junior sailing program. Nice mix of power boaters and sailors which is a tough balance. Highly recommend the parties at Whites Cove at Catalina.
