I must admit, when I saw the facility, i loved the fact that the apartments were all on one level, and they had patios attached, so as a resident, you can enjoy sitting outside in the privacy of your own outdoor patio.

HOWEVER... the residents are not welcoming, friendly or warm to new comers. Many have been their for years, and shun new arrivals. The staff does nothing to shepard, welcome the new arrival, introduce them, help them ease into the new lifestyle, which frankly is a bit hard, since moving from owning a home, having a yard, etc, to a 1 -2 bedroom apartment can be traumatic enough.

Not at all impressed with the level of involvement from the staff. Instead of being a caring, thoughtful institution, they leave you to your own devices. Transition is hard enough, my expection was that they would be more understanding, supportive and help in the move.

NOOOO. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this facility.
