Nice atmosphere and great food. Loved the oldies and modern music mix. Tried the shrimp and Flounder po' boy sandwiches -- very fresh and tasty. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait! I'll definitely be back!

So I moved to Corpus, roughly around 3 years ago. Hate it, but then I stumbled upon what was then known as, The City Dinner. BEST FOOD EVER! But drunk waitresses and unclean cooks cursing in the dining area aren't my kind of thang. I still kept eating there because why, THE FOOD! Amazing! Time passes and the service declines even further down the path of destruction. Then they closed down for quite some time. I recently saw advertisement of the grand opening of Downtown Grill. I wanted to see if the food was the same and service had improved. Went back. FOOD BY FAR BEST IN THE CITY. Their customer service, uh.......it got worse. They don't care about the customer it's only their paycheck that matters. I get it, that's life, but CMON! I left your establishment today because we were seated knowing we're regulars and after 10 mins of watching your waitstaff joke and play around with each other by the kitchen doors and us not being asked our drink order it was frustrating. As we're walking out we tell the host we were leaving for poorly executed (lack thereof) customer service your waitstaff again just standing thee
