If you plan on taking your newborn/pre toddler here be aware. I didn't start experiencing mishaps with my child till the 12 month old room, where the teachers were unaware of why she was crying at times when she was picked up. Always had a draining nose that I had to ask if they could clean before handing her to me. I took her out after she was "suspended" for biting another pre toddler 2x and the newborn manager "stopped" her 3rd attempt. My daughter never bites at home or with older sibling during playtime. After seeing footage for myself assurance and wanting to see what the teachers were doing for her, I was dissapointed in the staff as to keeping an eye on my daughter to help prevent her from doing it a 1st and 2nd time. But in the managers words "they don't know, their too young to understand" but she understands getting suspended? She's 1 years old! It hurt me as a parent working full time to have her out of school for 2 days due to negligence and poor care taking and guidance. Yes they're over crowded. So if you plan on wanting your child to get the fair attention they deserve, look elsewhere. My daughter is now enrolled at another school, getting the fair attention every child deserves, doing learning activities and has had no biting incidents since. Another thing, I've taken new wipes and package of new diapers and haven't ran out and been close to a week n half. At red barn by day 4 she wouldve needed more. What else does that tell you. Some of the teachers were great but you would be lucky to have them again the next day because they move them around so much. And incident reports were rarely made when finding a scratch on her face or why she was crying.

many of my siblings and including me have gone to Red Barn for a while now and we think it couldn't be better. I learned a lot from the teachers and how involved they were with me. Often when i would become upset, he owner would pull me into her office and talk to me. Somehow she would always find a way to cheer me up. Seriously recommend Red Barn for the KIDS!

What a blessing this center has been for my kids. They have really learned a lot and socially are much more engaging than before at other centers. Great staff. The best in town.

Pulled my child out after coming in the second time to find another caregiver asleep on the floor while the toddlers were half asleep and half roaming. The first time I forgave as the first woman was slumped against a wall in circle time. Seems there is quite a lot of unethical behavior at this place. Low price isn't worth bad care for your child. Go anywhere else.

Blessing

After taking my kids to two other centers in town which were dirty and unorganized, this place seems like a dream come true. Clean, organized, open 6 days a week, and affordable. Staff has been great. Owner is a very sharp lady, former Navy Pilot. I'd recommend to anyone.

I have also heard from friends that Red Barn is over crowded. I am looking for full time care for my 3 kids and I am very skeptical about taking them to Red Barn....I am very particular who watches my children. I want them to be safe and comfortable while I'm working. The last thing I want is for them to be ignored or treated badly because of staff being over worked and under paid.

Solid Center

No complaints here. Very clean and new. Kids like it and staff are very friendly. Much better than other overpriced centers in town.

Red Barn has been a blessing. ...

Red Barn has been a blessing. After my children attended some other centers in town, I was not happy. Other centers were old and dirty and the staff seemed unorganized. The reason Red Barn has so many kids there is because they are good. You won't find a better place in town. I'm pretty picky about my kids and where they are. If other centers in town were this good, they would be have a waiting list too, but they don't....theres a reason they don't. The wonderful staff puts my mind at ease so i can be at work and not have to worry about my kids.

Best in Town

I have two children that attend Red Barn. I have tried other centers and was not happy. Red Barn has great staff and the kids love it. They provide after school pick up and are open 7 days a

week til 9pm at a very good price. This is very helpful for a family that has two working parents. My kids love the summer field trips! I have nothing but praise for Red Barn after experiencing other local "high priced" centers. Funny thing is I have seen some of the teachers that used to work at the "high priced" centers now working at Red Barn. I wont take my kids anywhere else.

This is the worst place to tal...

This is the worst place to talk your kids. After enrolling my kids I heard about the child that was locked in the building and everyone left but I thought it was a one time mistake. This was only the begining to the issues at this day care. I have had several issues with the lack of care and attention to the children. My son was bitten numerous times and have bumps and bruises that they could not explain. They say they encourage potty training but in reality they give them enough attention and encouragement to learn. Both my kids were always coming home sick. I recently learned that my 1 year old was sleeping with a cup of milk for nap time and removed both kids from the day care. If you care about your children's health, do not take them here.
