This marina always makes us feel right at home. The owners take such great care assuring that all campers are happy and comfortable. They'll always stop in to check on everything, and make sure it's all smooth sailing. Lovely place with friendly faces, and I will most definitely recommend this location.

Awesome place. Great fishing, boat ramp. Quiet. Off the beaten path. Great sunsets. People here are really nice

Please use caution while on this property. The new owner will overwhelm you with his presents and directions. If you fail to comply with his demands you will be denied service and ordered to leave. The new owner also does not mind yelling and using profanity in front of children. I am not sure what the new owner’s priorities are but customer service in not even on the list.

FYI, the previous reviews are for the previous owners, who were great people.

The new owner is anything but! If you enjoy being told what to do, how to do it, and when to do it, by all means, go there! For everyone else who actually knows how to camp, launch a boat, etc., go somewhere else! The new owner will creepily appear amongst your group, to "check" on everything. He will watch you load and unload your boat, and attempt to tell you what you're "doing" wrong.

One weekend we camped, it began to rain and the temp dropped into the 40's. My best friend drove all the little girls to the bathroom and parked her car close so the girls wouldn't get soaked. Well, that happened to be in the grass. The owner came over and cussed and yelled at her IN FRONT OF THE KIDS, for being on his grass!!!!

Overall, it is a beautiful marina, but all nature is beautiful to me....that is the ONLY nice thing I can say....

SUNSET COVE MARINA: I live on the lake but because the water level has been down recently, I began putting my boat in at Sunset Cove Marina on FM 2859. The folks there just couldn't be any more accomodating! If you're looking for an upscale marina experience...you won't find it here. But if you're looking for VERY reasonable fishing and launch rates, friendly, helpful people, good food and all the basics...this is it! Give 'em a try and I think you'll agree. Located on the north end of Richland Chambers Lake on FM 2859. Nice quiet, peaceful place.
