My children have been attending Cortland Playroom for several years. They offer many fun activities for the kids that make them excited to go throughout the summer. I have spent time in almost all of our local daycares and in-home care facilities and this daycare/preschool is one of the only ones I would leave my children at. I did, however, have a problem with my child being severely injured at the daycare and never received notice or an incident report despite his medical form specifically stating that I am to be notified of any type of eye injury immediately. My son is blind in his left eye so I guess they didn't think an eye injury would matter but we spent 3 painful months trying to get his eye back to "normal." I was very disappointed that I never got an apology from the teacher or administrator and no one made any effort to ensure me that I would be notified of an injury in the future.
