Darrells has been a Corvallis tradition for a long time, but unfortunately the biggest tradition was smoking inside. Now that the Corvallis smoking ban is in effect, it will take many more years or a major refurbishment to get those walls that have been dripping with tawny tobacco residue clean. I had a tough time eating there under a cloud of smoke and thought the new regime would be a breath of fresh air. Only time will tell.
