Photography happened by accident. The greatest accident. I lived in Arizona in the heat and surrounded by shades of tan. My husband and I decided to move and found Oregon on the internet by looking at beautiful pictures. We decided to fly in and rent a car and drive down to Ashland and back to Portland. We would take exits and see what each town had to offer. We drove into Corvallis and I fell in love at first site. When we went back to Scottsdale we decided to move. I found a job first so I moved and settled in and my husband had to stay in Arizona for 9 months and sell our house. Before I left he bought me my first camera and said..."take as many pictures as you can and so I can see what you're seeing and I don't miss out". Well, that started it all. In those 9 months I would get up early and stay up late taking pictures, learning to edit and reading and teaching myself all I could get my hands on. Landscapes and nature turned to people! And that's how it all started!
