I was referred by my P.A.for tests. A voice mail had me call back for an appointment by (Tia - she was very nice). When I returned the call, the receptionist did not know what I was calling to make an appointment about (tests, what?). When I asked about the travel time from Lincoln City to consider what date to make my appointment, I was advised that - depending on the traffic and road conditions that from NEWPORT is would be 1-to 1 1/2 hours. I was then told that this appointment was for a consultation. I said, Are you serious? Don't you think that a five-hour drive to talk to someone is a little retarded?" She went silent. "I guess I will have to call my doctor to see what she scheduled for me. Do you have phone consultations?" "Yes, you will and no, we don't have phone consults." I repeated, "Don't you think it's ridiculous to drive five hours to talk to someone for five minutes?" She hung up on me. Nice introduction to your facility.
