Provided by YP.comhad an AC unit install in conjunction with persisting oil heat furnace at the beginning of summer by Premier Comfort Heating . Not a week later they had come back and said had to put Freon in the system. Their mess up, but still took them several days to come check it out. Three weeks ago I went to turn the heater on and nothing. Had a tech from different company check it out and said the transformer was bad and the heater was not hook up correctly to the thermostat. Also the contactor on the ac compressor was bad. Kevin from Premier Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning happen to call that day “Thursday” and said that the transformer not under warranty and would be out sometime next week to check out the ac. No call no show, my wife trying to call a few times and left messages during the week. Monday 10 or 11 days later after my first call my wife tries to call him no answer, so I try from a different number, he picks up on second ring. I believe him to be avoiding our calls. Anyways he said he would be out at house at 9 am on Tuesday, which he does. After messing for a while, he said the thermostat wire running from the compressor contactor to the transformer had a short in it and he was not getting signal to the contactor. He said that an animal or must have chew on it, making sure that I it was no way his fault. He said there was no way the contactor was bad. This was Tuesday said he said he had to get parts and couldn’t get them put it in until the following Monday. So I check and locate hardware had the wire at 14 cents a foot “about six dollars for what I needed” and might take an hour to put in. Something sounded fishy with Premier Comfort heating & Air Conditioning so, when I got home I checked it out myself. The so call shorted wire was receiving 24 volts at the contactor, like it should. After investigating a while, I discovered a wire on the contactor need to soldered back, popped the contactor off, soldered said wire. AC and heater works great back.
