Old Safeway downtown

This store has seen better days, but it is the only supermarket downtown. There is a bakery and the store has the usual items, but the parking lot can be jammed at busy times, so be careful driving in and out.

Needs Upgrading

There are now 3 Safeways in a town of just over 50,000. This is the flagship and it is run down compared to the newer stores. The downtown location makes it a popular haunt for homeless who bring in carts full of cans and bottles to redeem. Don't bother taking your recycling to this store unless you want to wait for 15-20 minutes behind the street folk.
