A couple of the reviews I have read here are 180 degrees from how well I was treated at Sedlak's. I have not had such great service. They are great people and I wish every business was as knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous as these people. They have great prices, top brand boots and I only wish I had shopped here sooner. Worst customer service EVER!!! Do not buy from this merchant!



I tried to return shoes that had only been worn indoors (as is the practice of most shoe sellers). The shoes had hurt my feet. When I asked for a refund I was told it was their "policy" not to give refunds. This policy was not told to me prior to my purchase. When I insisted on a refund, the owner came out and verbally abused me, he yelled at me, he called me names, he was aggressive and rude. At one point I almost called the police because he was acting so irrational and aggressive. He finally gave me a refund, but removed 3% for the credit card charges (which is against most merchant service policies). And he told me to never shop in his store again.

I have been shopping at Sedlak's for about 10 years now and have always had excellent service whether with a new purchase or repair. Having some major foot issues I appreciate the time given me and the care in customizing the shoes for the best fit. I highly recommend Sedlak's for their quality and service.

Repair looked great, but fell apart within a month. Brought them back to see if they would correct their mistake but they were unwiling.



Does not stand behind their work. Look elsewhere.

I recently moved from The Midwest to Corvallis and was delighted to find a shoe repair store still in business. The shoe shop in my previous town closed down about 4 years ago . . .what a pain.Since moving here I have taken all of my shoes in for repair and have been very pleased with the work.The counter help is very friendly and will always ask the cobbler if they are unsure of what sort of repair is needed. At first I did wonder why it would take a week or two to get some shoes fixed. Then I discovered that this shoe repair shop is the only one in a town 50,000 people . . .that is a lot of shoes.Keeli

The repair guy is a magician . . . He never has let me down no matter what I bring him he turns it out looking almost "new". He is so busy doing for all the folks in Corvallis that I do have to get in line and wait my turn . . . I live in Sweet Home but i make the drive because I want the best.
