The staff seems more knowledgeable than the average big-box pet store employee, but the tanks are as overstocked as anywhere else or worse. The store is incredibly unpleasant to walk through, with aisles only big enough for one very thin person to walk down. Crossing paths with an employee or another shopper generally involves a lot of backward-shuffling until someone is out of the way. They do have a lot of hard-to-find items and rare fish, but I'm not sure putting dollars toward their business is a good idea. Also, I can't find their hours listed online anywhere, which is annoying, but may be helpful in keeping me from spending those dollars unwisely.

I say fish store cause that seems to be where they thrive. There were wonderful selections and very kind employees. What's more is, as a very invested aquarium keeper, I can say these employees knew what they were talking about and were very helpful. A wonderful "pet" store indeed.

A beautiful local fish and pet store. The previous review is entirely misguided and inaccurate. The animals that are outside are POND FISH, pond fish live hmmm outside in ponds. The staff is great and the aisles are a safe distance apart and the store is clean. In fact nearly every time I have been one of the four or five employees that are working is cleaning tanks or sweeping up. I have been a loyal customer for ten years please dont let the previous review discourage you from visiting one of Oregon premier fish stores.

I love this pet shop! It's not one of those chain ones like Petco, or Petsmart. The staff are very friendly and helpful very knowledgeable will answer any questions you have. They don't have cats or dogs, which is good. I don't think that pet shops should have dogs as they support puppy mills and such.

This was the worst pet store I have ever been to. The animals were treated poorly and it was not very sanitary. They kept some of their animals outside in the cold weather. There was a very narrow walk way to move around the store; it would have been a fire hazard. I refuse to purchase anything from this store.

The staff know about the animals they care for and provide exceptional care. Any question will be answered. Very friendly staff.

Need to list store hours. When it gets busy it can be crowded due to the very limited space, however, a very good experience for all.

The staff here are nice and knowledgeable. The place is kind of a dump, though. The space is narrow and you find yourself not wanting to touch anything as you walk through.
