Stayed at over 20 timeshares and this is THE WORST. Lists as a resort but it is just a motel wanting to be a timeshare. It is tiny, about 15 units that are all motel rooms and have outside access and one one floor. There is nothing to do there at all and the only pool is a tiny outside pool so do not plan on swimming at this place in cold season. The room is was for 4 people but, there was one bed and one pull out couch that was so terrible you could not even sleep on it. Felt like you were sleeping on bones. The place SMELLED and smoking is allowed in all rooms. When I reserved the "unit" I was told it was a full kitchen with laundry facilities. The laundry was 2 miles down the road at a paid laundry and the full kitchen consisted of a tiny apartment size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator that you could barely fit anything in. There were no separate bedrooms and forget privacy since the walls are paper thin. The place was so dirty that when I opened the blinds to let some light in, the blinds were covered in dirt to the point where you could scrape it off with a knife. The stove was filthy and the there was no room at all. All the utensils were in baskets on the counter because there were no draws at all. You could not fit any large pans in the stove so you had to bake in shifts and the pots handles either had to be over top of another pot you were cooking or hanging off the edge of the stove since it was so small in there. The bathroom could only fit one person and the shower/tub unit had an abnormally high side that you had to climb into in order to get into the shower. We had an elderly couple next to us that said they could not get in and out of the shower because of the high side. There is no DVD or VCR in the units at all so if you want to watch a movie you had better bring your own. The can opener did not work and the stove was broken and cooked way to hot and burned my complete chicken meal. Maintenance had to take a stove from another unit to replace the broken one we had in ours which did not help the fact that I lost my entire meal and you had to drive 30 minutes to get to the closest real grocery store is you wanted more food. The doors into the units are very flimsy and open with an old style key but we found if you jiggled the door, it opened without a key! There is no WIFI or an internet service at all. Gatlinburg is a 30 minute drive where you can stay at a better hotel or motel at almost the same price and have someone come and clean your room and make your beds each day. There was NOTHING TO DO ON THE PROPERTY and the "owners" are only there Monday - Saturday from 9-5. It was the most disgusting, terrible place I had ever stayed at and I am including motels and hotels in that list and not just Timeshare units.
