Hollander Marine is a Yacht and small craft surveying and consulting firm dedicated to providing you with an outstanding customer experience. In addition to surveys we also perform marine electrical repairs and installation, as well as sailboat rigging systems, both standing and running rigging replacement and service. We are boat owners as well as marine professionals who understand the need for a detailed, prompt and expert service. Our Founder and principal yacht surveyor, Christopher D. Tibbe, SA. was born into a boating family and early on was afflicted with “boat obsession” and became interested in how boats were designed, constructed and the way in which those elements affected the boats sea-keeping abilities and behaviors. Since 1989, Chris has worked “hands on” in the marine trades in everything from general yard labor, shipwright, sparbuilder, rigger , shop foreman and yard manager. In his over two decades in the marine trades Chris has gained the insight necessary to objectively evaluate the condition and potential areas of failure needed to produce an accurate and fair assessment of your current or soon to be purchased yacht. In addition to his experience in the marine trades, Chris has also raced and cruised thousands of miles in coastal and open ocean blue water passages. We are confident to suggest that you will benefit from his combined skill sets as a craftsman and his sensibilities as a mariner. Hollander Marine Surveyors is based in Newport Beach and Long Beach, CA. Proudly serving the maritime communities of Southern California including San Diego, Oceanside, Dana Point, Newport Beach, Alamitos Bay, Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Pedro, Willmington, Marina del Rey, Ventura and Santa Barbara.
