Provided by YP.comAbsolute best haircut I've ever had. I saw Stephanie today and she was fantastic. I'm mexican and have very thick, long wavy hair and I was requesting a new style. She was honest with me when I wanted a bang and suggested I soften the layers around my face starting at the tops of my cheekbone instead. I really love them because if I pull my hair up, I definitely have soft bangs but when my hair is down, they blend perfectly. Also the back of my hair, how it angles down creating length, looks fantastic.
Yes, it's a bit expensive, but I got what I paid for and more because she was also cool to chat with while she did my hair. I usually dread the small talk during a haircut, but the conversation was totally natural and she was genuinely a really nice person. Would highly recommend her.
The salon is also really beautiful and cozy. I moved to OC from NYC and finding a new salon is so difficult. I was a little nervous at first thinking, what if I pay $$ and hate it, but I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is picky about their hair or wants to try something different and needs someone experienced to help them find the right haircut.
I also bought the most heavenly shampoo. OMG i keep smelling my hair. It's the only time I've ever been convinced to buy shampoo purely on the fact that it smells amazing.

Provided by YP.comGreat experience! I've been going to salons all over OC trying to get the perfect natural blonde and I've finally got it here "Aveda Richard Michael Salon". Richard was my hairdresser! He's amazing. No wonder he's the creator of the OC Blonde hair evolution. Great experience. Service was beyond amazing. Thank you again RICHARD!!

Provided by YP.comOther than the recently increased prices for all services, I have always received a good hair cut at this salon. I always see Jody who does a great job. Overall everyone has always been very nice there, again though the increased prices are killing me! I think it is $65 or $70 for a hair cut now which I guess is reasonable for the area, but still is a decent chunk of change for a trim.
