We had called ACE Plumbing and Drain Cleaning from Cottage Grove, MN (Joe Francis, owner) to clear our clogged main sewer line on 2/23/14. While we thought he had done a good job, we ended up having our drain back up again just one week later, worse than the first time. We paid $187 for about 20 minutes of his time to "run the jetter 100' thru stack". When we contacted him to come out again, he was unresponsive to our calls and messages - I will note that he ended up having an emergency hernia surgery, but he didn't return our calls or text messages or willing to provide a back-up plumber- and both my husband and I were out of town! We came home 5 days later to drains that were still clogged and we ended up having to call another plumber that cost another $440! His statement on his website states "We unclog any drain or sewer main and do it right the first time. We pride ourselves on timely service. All of our repairs are guaranteed. You will get the service you want when you want it. When we fix the problem it stays fixed". Joe Francis definitely does NOT stand behind his work/guarantees and your problems are of no concern to him unless he 'has time' for it.
