One of my favorite “guilty pleasures” involves going “on-line” after having returned home from a restaurant where everything went beautifully! The food, the service, the ambiance! Everything! To enjoy the one-star reviews of that place. The five-star reviews tend to be boring, because the lily is always gilded in pretty-much the same way. But the one-star reviews, written by someone who’s absolutely impossible to please are downright inspired. Glorious denigration! [My favorite was the complaint that the walk from the greeting station to his table was too far. (He should have offered a two-star assessment, saving the one-star one for his Bataan Death March experience.)]

I mention this, because I just read a small sampling of reviews given Ms. Marjorie Budahn, our tax preparer! And, well, what to write? She’s experienced, fast, friendly, competent and professional: someone who sends out check sheets in anticipation of troubles before you see her! Catwoman, if truthful, would say of her, “Purrrrrfect!”

But I read something to the effect that she is of uncontrolled outrage and bad temper. Yes, well-written! Then, too, she’s acerbic, nasty, and backbiting! Kinda like Ellen DeGeneres!

Marjorie has always been professional, thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. She is always willing to answer my questions and be helpful in anyway she can. And the cost for her services are beyond reasonable.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I CONTACTED THEM IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR TO GET A COPY OF MY 2013 TAX RETURN. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE TOO BUSY- SO I GOT ANOTHER ACCOUNTANT. I LOST MY RETURN SO I STILL NEED IT AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE $50 TO PULL IT SINCE IT WAS ARCHIVED SINCE I AM NOT A CURRENT CLIENT. THAT IS SO WRONG.
