I had an issue with my landlord several years ago. Who hasn't? The manager at my property did not talk to us after an incident that was clearly not our fault. She just issued a 7-day notice to vacate.
The attorney from Iowa Legal Aid was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and PERSISTANT in pursuing our case against the property managements team of big time lawyers. He involved HUD and they were forced to not only back down.. but he demanded they remove any record of the issue from our file!
