Established in 1994, Nuevo Amanecer Latino Children s Services is a bilingual, multicultural nonprofit organization that provides educational and family-based treatment services for children and families. It provides foster care services for the victims of abuse, abandonment and negligence through its Nuevo Amanecer Latino Foster Family Agency. The organization recruits, trains and certifies foster parents, as well as assists in the development of children s self-esteem. Nuevo Amanecer Latino Children s Services also provides academic and medical, dental and psychological care services. Additionally, it offers information and referral services. The organization works in association with various county departments and children and family service agencies throughout Southern California. Nuevo Amanecer Latino Children s Services maintains an office in Covina, Calif.
