Dr. Jaymini Nayee attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia for her undergraduate studies and went on to attend the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennesee. She graduated in 2008 and has been with our practice for nearly three years. She specializes in contact lens fittings for patients with keratoconus, astigmatism, and other challenging ophthalmic conditions. During optometry school Dr. Nayee was a member of many student organizations and served as president of the National Optometric Student Association (NOSA) in her junior year. She was a Student Ambassador and actively participated in community vision screenings as a member of the Lions Club and Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH). Dr. Nayee was inducted into the Gold Key Honor Society for her commitment to leadership and community service. Dr. Nayee's current membership includes: Georgia Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. Dr. Nayee lives in Smyrna, Georgia and participates in volunteer work in and around the Atlanta area at places such as the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Books for Africa. She enjoys running outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
