Our son has completed 2 years of EC (also known as pre-K and Kindergarten) and Level 1 (first grade). We give the school an Excellent rating because of two primary factors (1) our son's happiness and (2) his academic progress. He enjoys his time at MSC, respects his teachers and classmates and is happy when he awakes on the morning of a school day. That is all attributed to his learning and social experiences at the school.

The academic progress reporting is not similar to our public school experience and therefore was a little outside of our comfort zone. We are becoming more familiar with and accepting of the academic reporting because our son is displaying a profound understanding and application of the traditional subjects i.e. math, reading, and social studies.

We give a lot of credit to the school for my son's progress but we would be remiss if we did not note that there is a very high level of parental involvement and care. The parents are very diverse in race, religion, socio-economic status and even political affiliation but we are all friends and interact with each other, socially, outside of the school.

We strongly encourage other families to consider MSC and judge the school based on their child's happiness and practical use and understanding of the material that they are taught.

We are looking forward to the 2018/2019 school year and our son's experience as a Level 2 (second grade) student.
