After charging $3200 for her custody evaluation (shared equally by both parties), her report left alot to be desired. At first glance I thought it was a draft. It was full of misspelled words and inaccuracies. She even changed my child's age throughout the report. She had witnesses names incorrect and a few were misquoted. I told her my soon-to-be-ex was lying about the things he had done. She didn't believe me. He has since been arrested for the very thing I told her he had done! She reccommended that while in therapy the focus for my child should be on the divorce. She very forcefully stated that there was no evidence of sexual abuse and the therapy should not focus in that direction. We now know differently. My child was abused. She had spent less than 6 or 7 hours with my child and was able to make this determination. I would definitely steer clear of Dr. Pellegrin!!!

Hopefully this goes for any child psychologist. But especially for this one, remember, the first rule is BE HONEST. We are all human. Even parents make mistakes, we make bad decisions, we let our emotions get the best of us and ultimately, we grow up. After laying everything on the table this psychologist who, at her core, really feels compelled to do the right thing (for the child, not the parent).
Honesty is truely the best policy with Alicia. Trust that she will recommend what is best for the child. Remember, her recommendations are only half of the equation. You still have to fight as hard as you can in court. And there, again, be honest. The courts are sensitive to people who lie in court. They are rather good at picking them out too.

Keep this MONSTER away from your children!
Always have a camera or a digital recorder with you anytime you go near her. This will save you in the end. She lies and lies and LIES!!

This woman should be disbarred. She filed a report in my custody that contained over 40 errors- and while I asked for them to be corrected, especially before they were given to the Judge, she refused. She also failed to mention that having been associated with my children 6 years prior it was a conflict of interest for her and thus she should not have stepped into the case again at all. Her incredible lack of discernment has cost my children much- and we have spend 3 years (with good Councillors) undoing her poor choices. My children will battle the rest of their lives because of her poor council. She should be forced to look at the havoc she creates.

Alicia Pellegrin should not be trusted to do an evaluation of any kind. Alicia could not get the facts of my case accurate in the least bit. Alicia lacks the professionalism and credibility that should come with being in the psychiatric practice. Alicia will not take her time to do a thorough evaluation. I believe she is in it for the money and does not care who she destroys in the process. She is malicious and unethical. Parents and Children beware!

I found a video interview with a Psychopath, at the 3:00 mark he talks about potty training, and at the 3:34 mark the interviewer asks how did he get the child to stay on the potty that long? His answer at 3:37 is exactly how I imagine my ex got my son to sit for over 12 hours, that is why when I got back and our son felt comfortable and was able to relax in the tub of warm water he could not hold it in and went in the tub his Father went into a fit of rage and pushed my sons face into his feces! When we got a Custody Evaluation the evaluator wrote that she did not believe the incident happened because she could not see how you can keep a child on the potty for that long without some type of restraint! She obviously does not know how a child can be scared into such a situation by a Psychopath, or doesn't have the training to be able to distinguish abuse when it is being described to her. This woman is way over worked. She didn't do any checking on my ex-husbands background. She can't see directly what is in front of her face as far as sexual abuse is concerned. She also said there was no sexual abuse with my child . There DEFINATLEY was. She needs to have her license revoked asap. I figured out she has made over 960000.00 just off the cases the court sends to her. I guess the money has gotten to her head instead of the well-being of the children. My ex-husband was admitted into a psychiatric hospital and arrested for drugs. He told her neither of these occured and she just took his word for it. She needs to check people's backgrounds and the information given to her because then she would know who is telling the truth and who is the real liar. I can't believe the court uses someone like this to make custody evaluations. I came here immediately on the reccomendation of the court becasue she was supposed to be the best and I thought we would finally have the help we needed. She had no concern for my child at all. Her report is FULL of mistake and time/dates are completely wrong.She even had that we were in her office on a Sunday. Her office is only open Mon-Thurs. Not only was another therapist misquoted so was a dectective. Almost all of her informations is WRONG on both parties. She spent less than 4 hours with my child to make a determination that will effect the rest of her life and she is wrong.This woman is playing God and there is only one God. If you love your child/children do not take them to this woman. The court also uses another doctor. Go to him.
