Covington High School, governed by Covington City Public Schools, serves students in grades 8 through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, math, physical science, social studies, and family and consumer science. It coordinates special education, alternative instruction, and gifted and talented education programs. Covington High School also provides guidance counseling and food services. The school operates a band, academic quiz team, and Beta and art clubs. It provides membership opportunities in organizations, such as the Technology Student Association and the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Additionally, Covington High School offers a variety of sports activities, including golf, cross-country, basketball, baseball, football and volleyball.
