Provided by YP.comThis dealership is absolutely pathetic. I paid cash for a new tractor in March '08 and now (late June) they haven't gotten it right. They are completely incompetent, unable to even perform dealer prep on a new machine. I wouldn't let them work on a bicycle.
The tractor was delivered in unbelievable condition - tires at more than twice recommended pressure, loader significantly unlevel (which makes it unusable for some work), hood damaged during loader installation. I saw the loader was terribly uneven and I started to check it out when I was distracted by the constant stream of hydraulic fluid leaking from where they tapped in for hydraulic power. The salesman's answer to the leaking fluid wasn't to use thread sealing compound or tape, it was to get the biggest wrench he had available and crank on it as hard as he could. To address the uneven loader, he started indiscrimately bleeding air out of the high side rear tire. His actions have been those of a used car salesman, not what you would expect from a farm machinery dealer. They wanted to blow off the damaged hood, but finally they agreed to replace it. Weeks later, they replaced the hood - WITH ANOTHER DAMAGED HOOD. They ordered another one and then improperly installed it and it was damaged the first time I opened it.
Soon after I got the machine, I found it frequently died when I left the operator's seat. This was there was a problem with the PTO lever. Either the PTO was being inadvertently activated (a VERY dangerous situation) or the safety shut-off was mis-adjusted. They ignored this for several weeks.
I believe Kubota equipment is good equipment, but without competent dealer support in this area, it isn't worth the risk. I have been unable to get anyone from Kubota to follow up, follow though, resolve the problems. Instead, I have had to make one long-distance pnone call after another after another.
I have asked them to just send me a new hood, since the installation is a complete no-brainer and it is unbelievable to me that they can't properly accomplish this task. They have had the hood now for well over a week, but it's too much trouble to go ahead and finish the job.
I gave Booth Machinery 1 star only because it isn't possible to give them zero stars.
