Nice environment. If you go, ask to sit in the old vault. It feels like a "jail." (This building was a bank years ago!).

The food is good, although not something I would want to eat every day.

Our oldest son loves their pancakes, and they are HUGE!

I like the chicken salad croissants.

Birthday of Lew Wallace

While in town for the birthday, my sister and I visited the Patch for lunch. I had the tuna sandwich with slaw while she had the turkey sandwich. Both dishes were flavorful, well prepared with attractive presentation, and priced reasonably. The service was quite friendly and the atmosphere definitely college town and homey, Diners may choose from about 6 or 8 small tables downstairs or in the safe. The business was once a bank. There is also seating upstairs although I did not venture there to inspect it. A fellow diner ordered the Dagwood and was surprised to see a double 3 tiered sandwich presented to him. It looked good!
