Premier Rural Medical and Dental offers medical and dental services in one convenient location. Dr. Robert Reid has been serving the medical needs of families for over 30 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of medicine in Baltimore in 1981. He completed a 3 year Family Medicine residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and did an additional 2 years of residency training at the University of Maryland and at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver finishing his residency in 1986. I the thirty plus years since finishing his training he divided his practice between Emergency Medicine (Including Urgent Care) and Primary Care Family Practice while working in the Emergency Department at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs as well as Saint Francis Hospital and Evans Army Hospital at Fort Carson. He served the Department of Defense at the Air Force Academy primarily in the Cadet Clinic from 2008 until 2014. Over the years he has also worked in Academic Medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville and is currently working 2 afternoons a week with the freshman and sophomore medical students at Rocky Vista University in Denver where he has been on the faculty since 2012.He is board certified in Family Medicine since 1990 and has always considered himself a family doctor regardless of where or what kind of medicine he is practicing at any given time.
