Changing Focus is a nondenominational and nonprofit organization that provides education and support groups for adults who face situations, such as marital separation, divorce and death of their spouse. Founded in 1978, as Single Again, the organization offers a range of discussion groups and organizes informative presentations for loneliness, alienation, depression, anger, and social and economic adjustments. It offers a counseling program and publishes a bimonthly newsletter, Sharings, which includes news and information about various upcoming events. Additionally, the organization provides a program for the development of healthy relationships and improvement of communication skills. Communicare is located in Crofton, Md.
