I have been going to cost cutters for years. The hairdressers are very friendly and competent. My 11 year old son loves the way that Michele cuts his hair, and I love the way that she cuts mine. It is always very clean, and is a very pleasant experience. A professional haircut at a bargain price, and they are open on sundays on mondays, unlike most salons and barbers. All the hairdressers work very hard and get along well with each other and their customers. Its like family. I would highly recommend Cost Cutters!!!

I got married in May and didn't want to spend a lot of money to get my hair done. After visiting several hair salons, I decided to go with Cost Cutters. They were very knowledgeable and the girl that did my hair completely understood what I had in mind and gave me some suggestions. I was able to look at some books to get ideas but the end result was even better than any of the pictures! My appointment was for 9:30am and lasted through the 1:00pm ceremony and beyond. The hairstylist did such an amazing job and it only ended up costing $35. I will definitely recommend Cost Cutters in Cromwell to everyone I know.

I've been going to the Cromwell Cost Cutters for 5 years. I've always had a great experience and haircut. Sometimes there is a long wait , but thats because they are always busy becuase they are so good and reasonable...The customer service is great...Ignore the bad reviews some people you just can't please. I would definately recomend this salon.

I agree that at times there is a wait, but I think that is because they provide good service and are reasonably priced. I have been going there for 4 years and have always had excellent results on par with much more expensive cuts I used to get. I seek out Jess D when I go. She has been great.

Good news I guess is that they are busy. Bad news is that they have horrible customer support.



The wait - Thurs-Sun - forget it. Normally they will stop taking people ½ hour before closing. Sunday - went there they stopped 1½ hours prior.



If they actually cut hair than cutting one person's hair - running to the back and 20 minutes later arriving to take on more from the wait list, than, the 1½ hour wait would be justified. Most of the time they only have 3 people working - if you can call it work. And forget about cleanliness - hair all over the place



If you are looking for a plush job, this is the place for you to work. If you're looking for a haircut - look elsewhere.
