My husband and I recently came across a home which was exactly what we were looking for. We called our agent and after seeing the house we decided to put in the offer. Our agent was not affiliated with Innovative Properties. Our agent contacted the listing agent at Innovative Properties to make her aware we were submitting a bid. She told our agent "we have another offer on the table but we will wait to submit until you submit that offer." that instantly sounded shady to us but we still submitted our offer as we love the house. In the meantime we found out the listing agent was also the representative for the "other" buyer. How perfect if that offer came in slightly higher than ours and she got all the commission...no sharing with our agent. The next day we got a call from our agent saying the listing agent called to tell her sorry but the other buyers offer came in "slightly" higher. We are reporting this branch to the state. You van not disclose another buyers offer and that's exactly what they did. Shady business practice if you ask me. Luckily, karma is a b!tch.
