Provided by YP.comMy son went here for ONE WEEK ONLY! This was the first daycare Preschool we have ever had any experience with and it turned out to be the worst decision myself has made as a mother. Monday, August 27, 2018 I picked my son up and while he was in the bath I realized he had bruising under his right armpit area. Me not thinking much of it knowing he is a boy until the following day. On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, please keep in mind Growing in Graces does have cameras that the parents can watch at any time of the day. Earlier in the day my co-worker and I saw the teacher forcefully putting another child that is not my son into time out. About 30 minutes later I witness the nap cot my son was on being pulled from under him which resulted in him hitting the floor. He of course got defensive and crossed him arms while lying on the floor; HE IS FOUR YEARS OLD! Then I proceed to watch the teacher grab him by the armpit area (where the bruises were I noticed the day before on 08/27/2018) and dragged across the floor than tossed on to his nap time cot. About 20-30 minutes later I witness the teacher follow my son back to his nap time cot then after he is half way laying down the teacher forcefully grabbed him by his armpit area again and yanked him to a full laying down position. In result to this happening resulted in more bruising under both of his arms.
When I spoke with the daycare owner, director, and teacher while watching what had happen on the cameras it was constantly being stated while if he wouldn’t have done this or that. One of the first things the teacher stated was she was very overwhelmed and aggravated for she was new to the 4 year old room which is not an accuse for what happen. First off, it is not his fault of what happen. Second, do not make me feel as if I am seeing things wrong when not only myself but his grandmother agreed with me. Not only this happening the daycare wasn’t maintain or even sanitary like it should be.

Provided by YP.comThis place is horrible. They lost my son for 5 hours and didn't even know he was missing until I went to get him after work. They deny responsibility for this and say it wasn't their fault. This place is dangerous. Do not take your children here.

Provided by YPmobileThere are so many issues at this daycare it's hard to know where to start. First of all a main reason I chose this school is bc they had cameras in the classrooms, oh except the cameras don't work which I wasn't informed of until after I had paid. Second, they told me all about their curriculum and schedule, neither of which are actually implemented on a daily basis. They said they sanitized room and toys daily which I'm almost certain they don't bc after a week of attending my child got a 103 fever and had to go to the emergency room. Every time at pick up and drop off he was with a different teacher ad they always had some excuse for this but the real reason is they are understaffed and had to switch children around all the time to maintain ratio. The last day my son attended when I picked him up there was no one at the front desk and he was with a teacher I had never let with snot running down his face from all the crying. No one bothered to wipe his face. I am appalled that places like this are allowed to stay in operation. DO NOT send your child here.

Provided by YP.comFor the most part, I really like the teachers here. My daughter has really grown from going to Growing in Graces and she gets along better with children now. (She is soon to be 17 months) For the most part, they do respect my wishes. I have had some issues with them giving my daughter juice, which she does not like to drink since I do not provide juice to her at home. She is not used to the taste and will refuse to drink it. I have had to remind each teacher a couple of times until they understood this, since it was not an allergy issue and just preference. Other than that, I have no complaints and my daughter looks forward to going there each morning.
