Grumpy's is a great place to get your car/truck/whatever fixed. I have a late 80's Jeep that has a Chevy drivetrain in it. Many shops get very confused with the modication and seem to loose sight of the problem. However, the guys at Grumpys are great! They quickly diagnosed my problem and then talked me through the options. They've even encouraged me to look for parts elsewhere so I could upgrade the normal transmission pan (that needed to be replaced) with an offroad model that includes a built-in skidplate. Most places I've taken cars to won't even use the oil filter I provide let alone walk away from a several hundred dollar part. Overall: These are honest, hardworking mechanics and you should not hesitate to ask for their help with any automotive problem.

I sent my brother to have his car inspected by this place and they failed him because he had a hairline crack in his tail light lens. I took him to the a Chevrolet dealer and they said that wasn't a valid reason to fail the inspection. I don't trust their knowledge and I feel their were dishonest with us.
