Dr Shaffer was very caring and compassionate as my doggy was terminally ill, she was so good to explain everything in detail. The staff was very nice and accommodating of our needs. If I ever have another pet I will use this Vet.

Dr. Shaffer and her staff are kind, compassionate, genuine and professional. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else! She always fits us in last minute, never tries to up sell us products or services we don't need, and is quick to offer advice over the phone without charging an office visit.

This sorry vet is a huge part of the reason my puppy is dead! My dog had parvo, I took her in the minute she showed symptoms. Dr. Shaffer not only refused to touch her but gave me only one antibiotic and one anti-nausea medication both of which are based on weight but she wouldn't weigh her either. No IV bag which is almost standard with any at home treatment for parvo. She charged me full price and my pup died less than a day later. Her only excuse was " your dog had parvo" for why she didn't want to touch her, weigh her etc. Where else do you take a sick dog if a vet won't properly treat her? My kids and I watched our pup suffer until the end and I did everything in my powerno watched this puppy come into this world and leave it and Before you judge, she was living with someone else who said they gave her all her shots... Had she been with me the whole time I Would be made sure of that. Don't trust this woman

I've been trying to get my basset's stomach problems resolved for the three years I've had her. My vet was not available twice in the last week and a half. I couldn't wait any longer, dog had not eaten in several days and was voiding solid grass bloody stools. Made appt. With Shaffer Vet. Dr. Shaffer listened with great empathy. Answered tons of questions. Never in a hurry and spent more time with me than the dog just listening. I was invited to the back where she went over the xrays in a detailed manner. Prescription drugs and food were given. Two days later I have a happy dog that eats and poops normally. My basset will have a lifelong chronic condition but at least now I know how to deal with it. Thank you so much Dr. Shaffer and your caring staff. We'll be back.

I took my bulldog in there and Dr Shaffer shared no expense on him to see what was wrong with him. then Dr Shaffer worked the payments out with me for all of it. I will never use another vet service again.

The Vet is very good with all the dogs & Cats. Tells the owners just what is going on with the animals.
