Established in 1868, Saint Mary Church of Crown Point manages St. Mary Catholic Community School, which conducts a range of academic classes and extracurricular activities. St. Mary Catholic Community School is an educational institution that was founded in 1872. It serves children in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school organizes cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and track and field activities. It conducts classes in language arts, social studies, science, math, social studies and physical education. St. Mary Catholic Community School hosts talent shows and science fairs, as well as operates beta and chess clubs. It also supports music, art, choir and band activities.
