Westphal's installed all of our hvac for our new home so we always go with them on the repairs. We have had a lot of repairs on both units and we have owned them for less than 10 years, so I had planned to go with a different repairman. Westphal's told me that my unit was still under warranty and that if I went with another company that the warranty would not be valid so I had them come out to repair my ac. I received the bill in the mail and it did not show any warranty coverage so I called to ask about it. The receptionist told me that it wasn't covered under warranty after all due to a buy out. She said that I should have asked Rick about it when he got here for the repair. Unprofessional and dishonest company. I would not recommend them for hvac needs. The only good thing is that they come quickly and make repairs quickly. Prices are high and they don't stick to the original warranty.

I called 11/9/09 to set up appointment on quote for Aprilair Humidier System for my home. Followed up 11/11/09 and was told I would get a call soon. I'm writing this 11/13 and have YET to hear anything? If it's this difficult to set up an appointment for a quote I can only imagine how difficult it would be if a service call is needed.Given these economic times it's hard to believe any company wouldn't want additional business but I guess Westphal doesn't have that problem.To me this is a solid sign of their lack of customer service and taking my business somewhere else.
