I hired Andy to put in a turn-around / parking area off the side of my driveway; the job included a retaining wall, a truck load of dirt, and a truck load of gravel. Andy was right on time for both the initial estimate and the actual job, which was great. I had explained at the time of the estimate that I wanted the extension to be 20 ft wide by 17 ft deep, and I even had stakes marking the four corners. I was too distracted by other things when they first got started that I didn't really pay close attention to what they were doing. I did mention to Andy, when the wall was almost complete, that it looked a little small but he insisted it was about 20x20. By the time I got close enough to determine it was absolutely not that large, the job was almost complete. It's closer to 16 ft wide x 10 ft deep - just barely deep enough to park a Wrangler, let alone a full size car or truck. His final price wound up being a couple hundred less than the estimate, but I'd have rathered pay the full amount and have the job done correctly.



It's decent quality workmanship and his timeliness impressed me, so I would still recommend him to others, but I would advise them to pay attention and ensure specifications are met and don't be too meek, like I am, to have them fix any mistakes before it's too late.
