I have rarely had bad service eating out. The food was ok. As soon as my bill and my friends was paid, we never saw the waitress again. Well except to serve other tables. Apparently once they get your money they want you to leave. Nevermind if you might decide to get dessert. Or want a refill. They are not interested in any more money from you. I would have to assume ever, because I certainly won't be going back. I've had better service in a gas station grill. I highly don't recommend this place. Especially since I emailed the manager and never received a reply. I guess he's got enough business and doesn't need mine. No problem.

Last 2 times we visit, both times bad experience, Manager sucks, didn't try to make things better she just had a very bad attitude, she doesn't handle problems well at all, will not be going back, doesn't even deserve a 1/2 star

Awesome service, awesome food, awesome country chowder. Local favorite for over 30 years and all for good reason.

Half price appetizers daily 3-6. great toasted ravioli. Wonderful pasta and great portions too. XD. I've enjoyed it every time I've gone!

We ordered Alfredo Pollo for carry out. While our expectations were not high, what we received was a complete disaster. Not one person in our four person family could choke down even a single bite. The pasta and tasteless chicken were coated in butter and Alfredo sauce and then cemented into place with a thick layer of cheese. We had ordered enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day but ended up tossing all the food in the trash. The disastrous food coupled with the disinterested management staff places this restaurant first on top of our list of worst restaurants we never hope to visit again.

This restaurant is a local favorite to many . My family has been coming here for a long time , food is wonderful and they have a wonderful selection of different salads , many different pastas and specialties . Last time we visited we also had outstanding service .

I went to Poppy's Ristorante a few weeks ago and their food was amazing! I had the daily special which was a parmesan crusted cod and it was to die for! My waitress was extremely friendly and I never had to ask for a refill. They make their rolls fresh daily and it shows, fluffy and hot at the table.

I will definitely return to Poppy's again for another exquisite meal and gret service.

I look forward to Wednesday night. We go to eat at Poppy's Ristorante and then go bowling with the team at Quonset Lanes. My favorite is Cajun Seafood Pasta with Linquine, shrimp and crabmeat. The Cajun is not too spicy, just the right amount of seasoning. A small Italian salad is just right with this pasta dish. The service with their cooks and waitresses is courtious and fast. Plenty of time for food and frames.

Poppy's Ristorante is an excellent place for parties. I gave a baby shower there for my daughter in the banquet room. I asked for a menu of my daughters favorite foods of Rigatoni Carbonara and Country Salad with Garlic Cheese Bread. The first time for these dishes and they were so good they became my favorites also. It was a pleasant experience with the help of management and the waitress staff, with the decorations and the way they took care of all the guest with smiles and witty personalities. It made our day. Good food and Good Company.

One of my favorite places to eat is Poppy's Ristorante in Crystal City, MO. The atmosphere is nostalgic with waiters and waitresses that are friendly and down to earth. Once our waitress sat down at our table and took our order and made us feel right at home. The food is excellent and my favorite is Homemade Fried Cheese Sticks with the Country Salad which is a meal all by itself, but if you want you can add on with Charbroiled Chicken which is tender and flavorful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at this restaurant on Valentine's Day was exceptional. The service was very good. We never had to ask for refills and our dishes were cleared promptly. This combined with the pleasant atmosphere of the place made for a wonderful evening
