My cat had been very sick, bleeding from his penis badly and couldn't walk. I took him in animal emergency clinic, they looked at him came out and told me he needed to be there for 2-4 days for medication and care, I then told them I don't have that kind of money. They then refused to help me in any way. The Clinic Manager named Ross Oliver came in and ask me to come talk to him, so Ross Oliver and I go into a room Ross closed the door and starting to yell at me telling me it is not their fault that I am poor and cant take care of my animal, then demanded I signed a paper saying that I am taking my cat home against docs order. I said I am not signing that cause I am not going against docs order you wont help me cause of the money. He refused to give me my cat if i didn't sign, so I asked for the paper and started to write, I Amy am not going against docs order's I simply don't have as much money..... Ross tells me I need to just sign the paper the way he told me to and not to write tha

I brought my six year old pitbull to the Animal Emergency Clinic after he had gotten a peach pit lodged in his intestine. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Not only did they quickly diagnose the problem, but they operated on him that same night. My bill was $1800.00 and I was glad to pay every penny. I have read reviews stating that the prices at Animal Emergency Clinic are astronomical. This is simply not true. What you are paying for is state of the art care for your pet. The vet did abdominal radiographs on my dog to diagnose the problem. An x-ray machine of that caliber can easily cost $25,000.00. Plus my dog received around the clock care and I was able to call back to the ICU unit and obtain a status on my dog at any time. Also, veterinary eduction is extremely expensive. When I think about what this operation would have cost on a human I feel greatful to have paid the $1,800.00. Please remember that this is emergency care and not just a regular vest visit.

I brought my dog to this vet when I thought she was having an allergic reaction to a medication I was giving her. I told them she she was allergic. They diagnosed her with something other than what I thought she had and continued to give her the medication despite my clear description of her reaction and symptoms. I took her home and continued their recommended treatment only to realize that they DID NOT test her for an allergy and continued her on this medication. She got sicker each day until i realized what was going on. Do not trust these people with your pets

We were traveling through the Chicago area when our cat experienced what we thought was a major problem with urination. The veterinarian we personally dealt with was thorough, professional and caring. She explained our options and discussed her recommended treatments. We had to return 2 days later because we had elected to forego treatment and take a wait and see attitude. We worked with a different vet and again, we had excellent care for our cat and were very pleased with the care he received. The charges were within what I had experienced before in this situation and would recommend this clinic and use it again. Our cat, Tucker, is just fine now.
