I had 3 cats boarded there. After 2 weeks, I came back to find one completely blind (an existing cataract in one eye, the other due to a hypertension onset during boarding). Although there is a Banfield veterinarian there, nothing was done and the report at the end of the stay indicated no problems. Instructions were left to provide thyroid medication for this cat, but after 13 days of boarding, I checked the pill container and only 8 pills were given.A second cat went in at 16-1/2 lbs, and after 2 weeks came out at just under 12 lbs. Again, the report indicated he ate well and had no problems. Obviously, they don't pay any attention to the animals and their internal policies don't allow them take care of any problems if they do occur.I am completely disgusted by their lack of compassion for the pets put in their care. Although I know that their services are provided by independent companies, I will never again use any services offered by PetSmart.

The care seemed good, our dog came back clean and worn out (which was good). The staff was friendly and remembers our dog when we return. The only downside was that when we picked her up late in the AM it seemed she wasn't taken to 'void'. She pooped in the car coming home. They do not take animals outside to 'void' and have a room inside to do it which is scented for the dogs to go. Another time we took her home she unrinated in the house a couple of times when she was home and then got back to normal. I would also suggest they install webcams so 'parents' of their animals can check in on them.
