Crystal River High School provides educational programs from grades nine through 12 to more than 1,300 students. Its 82 faculty members and over 30 support staff members assists in academic and extracurricular activities of the school. The school is under the Citrus County School District. It offers classes in business, English, fine arts, physical education, health, math, naval science, reading and social studies. It offers language programs in French and Spanish. It also offers various sports, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, track and field and weightlifting. The school also offers clubs and activities that include calculus club, National Art Honors Society, fishing club, student government, drama club and astronomy club. It also has a media center that is equipped with books and magazines. The school was established in 1969, and is located in Crystal River, Fla.
