Despite all of the negative reviews I had read online I decided to go and form my own opinion of the restaurant. I should've just listened to the reviews!!!
I stood at the front of the restaurant for several minutes before anyone even made contact with me. All I ordered were two burgers TO-GO.
I took a seat at the bar while I waited on my burgers.
AN HOUR LATER I had lost all my patience and asked for my food. At the 30 min mark I was told my food would be right out.....at the 40 min mark I was told just five more minutes.
I should've walked out and went to DQ across the street!!

You have a better chance of winning the lottery that getting a decent meal at this place. Yes, this place should be shut down. The owner walks around like she just woke up out of bed and could care less. The food is always given to you cold. The waitresses say it is the cooks fault but that is anyone's guess. The waitresses NEVER get the order right. They never come back to check on you. Makes me wonder just REALLY what is going on in the back. That is where they stay all the time. The tables are NEVER clean. Personally the health dept. needs to close them down. I don't know how they survive staying open. It definitely is not because of the food!!! Horrible place!! I have given this place several chance because Hell what other choice do you have. I will do peanut butter sandwich and never enter that place again.

Wanted a quick bite to eat. Waited for about 10 minutes before waitress came over Just ordered 2 hamburgers and after 30 minutes the waitress asked how we were doing. We said we were still waiting on our food she said she would check on our food. Came out cold and the hamburger was dry and had no taste. Tables were dirty and had to look for salt and pepper. Drinks were lacking carbonation. Not going back. Would have rated a zero but it wasn't one of the choices.

I love to eat at Monster Burger! They have delicious food and very friendly wait staff!

Despite all the bad reviews..I've made a few trips to monster burger and the only complaint I have is that the bartender was less than enthusiastic to be working but the foods been great, came out quick, friendly waitress, nice outdoor area as well

The best cheese steak I have had in south Texas!

We (my husband, our daughter, and I) decided to stop in for a quick bite on our way back home to Austin after we realized that EVERYTHING in Cuero is closed on Memorial Day. It should have sent up a red flag for me when we weren't even greeted by any of the 3 servers standing around, but rather by the matron of the place a good 2 minutes into standing there. She didn't even get up from her seat to welcome us in. Instead, she yelled across the dining room to us that we can sit anywhere. So we picked a booth RIGHT next to the wait station (having been a server for several years, this is the best spot in the house because you can't be missed... At least anywhere else you go). It took another nearly 15 minutes just for someone to come by and take our order. The worst part is, once our order was taken, we waited another 45 minutes just for the girl who was supposed to be our server (not the one who actually took our order) to come back and finally realize that we still hadn't gotten our food. So after scrambling walking back and forth between us and the kitchen because she couldn't figure out what was going on, she took our order for the second time and resubmitted it.



I wish I could say the review is over.



Once we got our food roughly 15 minutes later, all 3 of the dishes we asked for came out WRONG! In the end, we waited way too long to eat, the food was just okay despite the fact that nothing came out as ordered, my drink went dry and no one ever even asked if I'd like a refill, and the best part: they charges us FULL PRICE! They actually didn't offer us anything at all to make amends for the laundry list of failures with a simple lunch table of 3.



What a wretched awful experience. Save yourself the trouble and just hit the DQ drive thru. It's easier, cheaper, tastes about the same, and won't waste half your day.
