MY FAMILY AND I GOT AN ACCOUNT WITH AT&T FEB. 2014, IN Y NAME. I WAS NOT GOING TO BE HOME FOR A YEAR SO WE ASKED VANESSA TO PUT MY MOTHER IN CHARGE OF THE ACCOUNT. MY BROTHER AND HIS FAMILY CAME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS AND DAD WANTED TO ADD THEIR PHONES TO OUR ACCOUNT. MY DAD WAS TOLD NO I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD ADD OR DROP A LINE. I THEN SENT A NOTARIZED POWER OF ATTORNEY. THEY BOUGHT THE PHONES AND THE SIMS CARDS FROM THE AT&T STORE FROM THE SAME MANAGER WHO SAID NO SHE DID NOT WANT ME TO COME HOME WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY OWED. SHE THEN REPORTED FRAUD AND AFTER 2 WEEKS AND 3 DAYS THE PHONE SERVICE WAS TERMINATED. MY FAMILY COULD NOT REACH ANYONE BUT THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT THEY WENT TO THE STORE WITH THE POWER OF ATTORNEY TO SHOW MOM HAD THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT EVER WAS NEEDED. THEY TOLD HER THAT HER DOCUMENT WAS FRAUD AND THEY NEEDED TO LEAVE THE STORE AND NOT COME BACK. 3 OF THE PHONES WERE BUSINESS PHONES SO THE ONLY THING WE COULD DO IS PORT OUR NUMBERS TO VERIZON. WE HAD TO HAVE THOSE PHONES ON. WHEN I GO TO THE STORE AND TALK TO THE MANAGER SHE TELLS ME THAT SHE WAS TRYING TO PROTECT MY CREDIT. WHEN SHE REPORTED FRAUD BETWEEN THE EARLY DISCONNECT FEES AND THE PRICE OF THE NEW PHONES LEFT ME OWING $2185. I STILL CAN NOT GET MY CALLS RETURNED WHEN I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE I AM PUT ON HOLD FOR 30 MINUTES OR MORE AND THEN HUNG UP ON. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I WANTED MY SERVICE WITH AT&T AND STILL DO IF THEY TAKE THEIR FRAUDULENT CHARGES I WOULD STILL TRY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. PLEASE BE AWARE AND TAKE HEED IF YOU PLAN TO GET PHONE SERVICE THROUGH AT&T. ITS A NIGHT MARE AND I STILL CANNOT GET MY CALLS RETURNED OR ANY RELIEF FROM THIS.
