I visited a friend living here as I was interested in renting a room. They were booked up which was fine. I chose to park in the visitor parking area designated. (Which is about a half mile from my friends apartment. The spot is atrocious.).
I was then towed because apparently there was a small red fire hydrant in the grass to the right of where I parked. No red lines on the ground. No sign that said anything about it.

I am a USMC veteran and expect at least a little professionalism. I think the way that situation was handled was a disgrace. I am out 150$. Do not even go near this spot. They are looking to tow you.

Horrible place to live if you want any visitors.

Not veteran friendly.

I called this week looking for a place for my son and the woman that I spoke to, Debbie, was in no way any help. From what I understand, she has been there for a while and I absolutely do not see why. She is the absolute WORST! She wouldn't give me any information and said they couldn't take down my information even if something opened up! All I was told is that their sister property had some rooms available and to call them. I was unaware that they had sister properties so I asked her if there was a managing or over-seeing company that handled the complexes. When I asked, her response was "WHY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW?" in the most hateful tone. Now, I'm a yoga instructor in Cary, NC and I'm all about keeping calm in any situation, but this was trying my patience. She had nothing but bad things to say to me and about the company that managed the Summit. (I think she called it Evolves or something like that). After that, I didn't want to even bother calling the sister property because she was so rude. I'm sure the other property would be just the same if they're owned by the same people. We went to RiverWalk and they were able to help us at least get on a waiting list there as well as WCU. I'd rather he live on campus than have to deal with that nasty, rude, and inconsiderate woman. I don't know how she still works there if she does nothing but treat everyone like that- which I see, happens a lot.

The woman is the leasing office knows nothing about customer service. The apartments are nice, but you could not pay me to live there if I had to deal with her. She was incredible rude to me. Terrible attitude, I had a really horrible experience and would never consider living there based solely on the "management" in the leasing office. If they fire her, the apartments are great.
